Every tab has p Firstly, kudos to Flipkart's services. This has to be the best tablet available in the market. Really sleek design and premium finish.
Even the plastic used feels premium! Most importantly, has got amazing battery life. I have never seen a tablet last 3 days on constant Wi-Fi use. I believe this is mostly due to the power saving f Jayasurya Menon Certified Buyer , Chennai. The rubber finish is awesome!!!!! It is very smooth in operation, after the 4. It beats Ipad on all grounds. However, if you fancy yourself taking in the latest episode of "Scandal" while soaking in your bathtub and desire complete impunity from water splashes and the occasional accidental dunking, there isn't a better tablet currently available for you.
Design I'm not a fan of jagged edges on tablets. If there's a button or some other physical feature that sticks out from a tablet's body, I tend to notice it. And by "notice it," I mean hate it. The iPad 's buttons are guilty of this, and I was pleased to see that Apple corrected this admittedly small oversight with the iPad Mini.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z's thin, somewhat prickly volume rocker juts out from its left edge and while this makes it easy to find, it's also not the most pleasing piece of plastic to accidentally run your finger across.
I'm also not a fan of the Z's hard plastic edge design. While I'm sure it helps protect what is otherwise a fairly flimsy body, it's a bit too thin and unyielding for my tastes. Luckily, those are really the only physical design gripes I have with the Tablet Z. It's otherwise impressively light and incredibly thin for a incher; however, those who equate "premium" with metal-embossed backs will be disappointed by the Tablet Z's brushed plastic posterior, which seems all-too eager to take on oily fingerprints.
Along the left edge, above the volume rocker is a circular silver power button that, like its spindly neighbor below it, sticks out from the tablet's body. However, thanks to its rounded frame, it's able to do so without any annoying physical unpleasantness. Speaker grilles adorn the bottoms of the left and right edges: a location choice I haven't quite seen on a tablet before.
All three can be covered by attached door flaps that seal each port shut when closed, transforming the tablet into an effectively waterproof device. The doors to the port were a bit difficult to open until I noticed a small slit on the bottom of each I could force a fingernail into. That's kind of a criticism, but I understand why Sony maybe didn't want the doors on its waterproof tablet to be easily removed.
Just how waterproof is it? According to Sony, the Tablet Z can be submerged in up to 3 feet of fresh water for up to 30 minutes without sustaining damage. I was hesitant to actually test this out on my review unit until I'd actually spent enough time with it to write most of the review. I guess I just wasn't all that confident in how effective it would be at staying dry. In fact, one can go in for news dailies online in Sony Xperia Z Tablet instead of buying the news papers.
To that extent it will save your money on news dailies. The micro sim card slot allows you to insert the sim card through you can browse on the internet when you are on travel. Wifi connection is very good. Bluetooth works fine.
The leather cover supplied free of cost with the tablet is very good and protective. To hold the tablet with grip is not a problem at all.
In any angle, the screen display has no distortion at all. Audio from the in built speakers is very good.
The FM Radio is very attractive. Especially when you are travelling without browsing the tablet, you can enjoy the radio music. To connect with other desktops and laptops, it requires no effort. In all it is a very good experience to have to the Sony Xperia Z Tablet and a perfect gift to the spouse and children.
My experience with Flipkart is about One year and it is very nice and hassle free to buy products online through Flipkart. The grievances, if any, are attended to buy the Support Team promptly and redressed from time to time. I bought this rite when it was introduced.. Every tab has pro's and con's, b4 u buy it, just list out ur uses and needs and choose a prfect tab Its better than you'd expect It really is all you can wish for.. Open the app tray and you have the ability to organise your apps by most used, most recently installed, alphabetically or your own custom layout.
This is a nice touch, and doing it A-Z can be very useful for those with a lot of apps. The Sony services and apps included are good, on the whole. The Socialife app provides a Flipboard-esque layout of posts from your various social networks, and throws in news stories of interest as well you can choose your preferences in the settings. There are also several clever ways to use the Xperia Tablet Z with other Sony products you might own. NFC is on-board for one-touch connecting with headphones, for example, and with Xperia Link you can simply tap your Xperia phone to the tablet to share its data connection.
That said, there is an 8MP camera on board if you need it, and a helpful 2. The photo performance is average. The camera app has plenty of options, including an Intelligent Auto setting, individual scene selection, panorama mode and a burst mode for taking a load of shots in a row. It particularly struggles with exposure in bright light as high dynamic range HDR is an option for still shots only.
Being a Sony product, sound has been pushed as a big part of the Xperia Tablet Z. In particular we found the Clear Phase setting, which adjusts the quality of the internal speaker, worked well at bulking out its sound and taking some of the emphasis away from the treble. Playing music through headphones is the best way to go, though, as it shows off plenty of detail and a taut, well-defined bass.
Elsewhere, the Xperia Tablet Z produces a solid, rhythmic sound, with a fine sense of drive and good dynamics. We like the Sony Xperia Tablet Z. The design is a little Marmite, but its slim and light frame makes it the perfect travelling companion.
